Conflict Resolution

Dealing with conflict openly, constructively, practically and scripturally is what this program offers.  Through this class, attendants will gain knowledge of creating reconciliation and peace.  The program is offered to groups, families as well as churches in conflict.  This is an ongoing process that teams learn to resolve conflict constructively.  Aspects of the program are:

     * Review types of conflict
     * Learn alternative methodology
     * Learn tools for Conflict Resolution

Process Decompression

This program was established to help service members exhibiting signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  The program establishes a treatment schedule of group therapy to treat soldiers as they display symptoms of PTSD.  The treatment program establishes a schedule of follow-up visits after conclusion of the therapy.

Pastoral Care 501 for Clergy

This seminar enables clergy to hone their skills in hospital ministry, pastoral counseling, crisis intervention, identification of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Critical Incident  Stress Response management  and referrals.  It is an advanced level course.

Personal Growth Workshop

Individual growth in the group setting using Psychodrama to resolve trauma, grief and other issues to create a more spontaneous and creative life.

Communication

The most common cause of hurt feelings, poor relationships, a poor sex life and conflict, communication especially with those we care about the most, is at best a challenge.  The workshop provides basic and intermediate training in making communication skills better through experiential learning, role training and practice.

Hospital Training

The Institute of Pastoral Care can help hospitals establish Pastoral Care programs by assessing their needs and training ministry teams to successfully develop and maintain their own programs.
