churches in conflict. This is an ongoing

This program was established to
help service members exhibiting signs of Post
Traumatic Stress Disorder. The program
establishes a treatment schedule of group therapy
to treat soldiers as they display symptoms of PTSD.
The treatment program establishes a schedule of
follow-up visits after conclusion of the therapy.
Pastoral
Care 501 for Clergy
This seminar
enables clergy to hone their skills in hospital
ministry, pastoral counseling, crisis
intervention, identification of Post Traumatic
Stress Disorder, Critical Incident
Stress Response management
and referrals.
It is an advanced level course.
Personal
Growth Workshop
Individual growth
in the group setting using Psychodrama to resolve
trauma, grief and other issues to create a more
spontaneous and creative life.
Communication
The most common
cause of hurt feelings, poor relationships, a poor
sex life and conflict, communication especially
with those we care about the most, is at best a
challenge. The
workshop provides basic and intermediate training
in making communication skills better through
experiential learning, role training and practice.
Hospital
Training
The Institute of Pastoral Care can help hospitals
establish Pastoral Care programs by assessing
their needs and training ministry teams to
successfully develop and maintain their own
programs.
